Cycling: Using quiet country lanes, explore peaceful and scenic areas of East Hampshire. In Alice Holt Woodland Park hire bikes are available to ride on the forest cycle paths or Shipwright’s Way.

Walking: Guests are welcome to walk on the farm, enjoying the peace and tranquility. Several footpaths cross Stubbs Farm with one being a direct link to The Hangers Way - a long distance path from Alton to Petersfield.

Golf: There are a number of excellent golf courses in the area including pay & play options.

Birdwatching & Wildlife: Stubbs Farm is a haven for wildlife where buzzards, barn owls, roe deer, badgers and many others are often seen. Part of the farm is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest.

Other: Go Ape, Alice Holt Forest; Spectrum Leisure Complex, Guildford; Lasham Gliding Centre - fly with an experienced instructor soaring over the beautiful countryside.

Eating: Enjoy a meal at a local country inn or restaurant. If you prefer to eat in you will find Farm Shops and Farmer’s Markets or a ten minute drive to Alton will give you a choice of takeaways and shops including Sainsbury’s & Waitrose supermarkets.
